DAY RIDE

JUNE 23, 2009

Tuesday- June 23, 2009 arrived with perfect weather and we decided to do a day ride that we do at least once a year- the Foothills Parkway.

We rode through South Knoxville, then took Old Maryville Pike to Maryville and ate at Gracie's restaurant.

Great food and great service at Gracie's in Maryville.

From Gracie's we headed north on 321 to Foothills Parkway.

Coming off the Parkway.

 We exited right off the Parkway and got on 129 then on to 72 toward Vonore. We continued on to Axeley Road which then took us to 95, then 321. From 321, we stopped in to visit at Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson.

After visiting here, we continued on back to Knoxville via Alcoa Highway.

We really enjoy our day rides. We get to see the countryside and visit different places. Today we went about 110 miles. A perfect day and a perfect ride!
